What we collect, where it goes, and the choices you have.

Who this covers

Pogun is a project of Input Output Global, Inc. (“IOG”, “we”), 2015 Ionosphere Street, Suite 201, Longmont, Colorado 80504, USA, which is the data controller for this site. This policy covers the site, its waitlist and its contact form — there is no live product, so there is nothing else for it to cover yet.

What we collect

Joining the waitlist takes one thing: your email address, given by you (opt-in). The questions after it — your role, collateral and currency interests, amount and term ranges, timing, and an optional note — are optional, and the form says so. The contact form collects your email address, topic and message, your name if you supply it, and the page it was sent from. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes IP addresses and request data in server logs to deliver and protect the site.

Your waitlist record — including your email, optional answers, form-progress status, page path and update time — is also saved in your own browser (local storage, under the key pogun.waitlist) so you can leave and resume. Your analytics choice is stored there under pogun.analytics-consent. When you join the waitlist, that record is sent through Google Apps Script to a Google Sheet controlled by IOG; later answers update the record keyed to your email. Contact-form submissions are sent through the same Google services to a separate sheet. Google processes that data for us as the form infrastructure provider. To remove local copies, clear this site’s data in your browser.

Legal basis under GDPR

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — the waitlist email and optional answers, the contact form, and optional analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — securing the site, measuring aggregate usage, and improving the page.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where processing is necessary to comply with law.

Retention

Waitlist entries are kept until we offer access or close the waitlist, and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first. Correspondence is kept as long as the inquiry, and any dispute that follows it, requires. Analytics events and replays are automatically deleted after the retention periods configured in IOG’s PostHog project; those periods are limited to what is needed to measure use of this site and troubleshoot problems. PostHog’s browser identifier may remain for up to one year unless you decline analytics or clear this site’s data. Local form and privacy choices stay until you clear them.

Transfers

IOG is a US company, so personal data may be transferred and processed outside your own jurisdiction. Waitlist and contact submissions are processed using Google Apps Script and Google Sheets; optional analytics is sent to PostHog’s EU cloud region. Where data leaves the EU or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. What we hold is shared only with the processors this page names — Google, PostHog and Cloudflare — and beyond that only where disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect rights, property or safety, or prevent wrongdoing, in which case we comply as narrowly as the law allows.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No transmission over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. Where applicable law requires it, we will notify affected people and relevant authorities of a breach.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and consent withdrawal. Exercise any of them via dataprotection@iohk.io — IOG’s data-protection contact — or info@pogun.io, and you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority, though we would rather hear it first and fix it.

California residents

Where the CCPA applies, California residents may have rights to know the personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed, request access, correction or deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercise those rights without discrimination. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Requests go to the contacts below; we may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority.

Email

For a waitlist entry, we plan to send an email if we can offer access. We will not use that address for newsletters or unrelated marketing unless you separately opt in, with an unsubscribe that works.

Links that leave this site — including public block explorers, research-paper hosts, X and LinkedIn — go to services we neither run nor answer for; their privacy policies are their own and worth reading.

Changes

When this inventory changes — for example, a processor or a new category of collection is added — this page changes and the date at the top moves. Material changes get flagged here, not slipped in.
